Black & White.

"This isn't about the colour at all. It's about the light, the shape and the texture."

This collection of black and white photographs offers a different perspective on a variety of subjects. By removing colour, attention is drawn to light, shadow, texture and form—revealing details that can easily be overlooked. Ironically, I often find a good black and white photograph while looking at a scene in full colour.

For me, black and white photography creates mood and emotion. It invites us to look more deeply, searching for character, expression and the story within the image rather than being distracted by colour.

Trees are among my favourite subjects. Their shapes, textures and timeless presence seem especially suited to black and white, where every branch, scar and silhouette becomes part of the photograph's story.
